“Doctor Stovepipe are purveyors of hot jazz, gypsy swing, Appalachian music and ragtime. Their children’s workshops have been known to feature songs about chickens and many of the lesser animals known to science, brought to life by sweet harmonies and a rollicking, toe-tapping foundation of guitar, bass, fiddle and banjo”
