Our logo takes the form of an acacia tree, which is common to our area, with a pathway leading to it. It indicates that along our learning pathway there will be many choices to make or branches to take, in order to achieve. Girraween Primary is committed to providing children with learning experiences that engage young minds, promote positive dispositions to lifelong learning and ensure a continuity of learning experiences through the years of schooling. Our school motto is ‘Rising to the Challenge’. Our learning powers of curiosity, creativity, commitment and collaboration build a community of learners through a strong disposition approach. We advocate for a growth mindset steeped in the power of ‘yet’ and embed our values of care, respect, responsibility, personal best and fairness in everything we do.
